Merida (MMMD), Valladolid (MMCT)

Our trip starts in Merida, the vibrant capital city of the Yucatan state. As we descend upon Merida International Airport (MMMD), we are greeted by the colonial charm of this cultural gem. Take a stroll through the historic center, where colorful facades, bustling markets, and ornate cathedrals transport you back in time. Don't miss the opportunity to indulge in Yucatecan cuisine, with dishes like cochinita pibil and sopa de lima tantalizing your taste buds. For an aerial treat, consider a flight over the stunning Mayan ruins of Uxmal and Chichen Itza, offering a unique perspective of these ancient wonders.

Holbox (MX0171)

Our next destination takes us to the island of Holbox, a hidden gem of the Mayan Riviera. As we land on its small airstrip, we are greeted by crystal-clear turquoise waters, pristine beaches, and a laid-back island vibe. Fly low along the coastline to marvel at the breathtaking array of marine life, including whale sharks, manta rays, and vibrant coral reefs. Explore the mangroves, swim in bioluminescent waters, and soak up the sun on secluded beaches. Holbox offers a peaceful retreat for pilots seeking a tranquil escape from the world.

Day 3

Playa del Carmen (PCM)

From Holbox, we head south to Playa del Carmen, a vibrant coastal town nestled along the Riviera Maya. As we touch down at Playa del Carmen (PCM) Airport, we enter a world of endless white-sand beaches, clear waters, and an exciting blend of local culture and international flair. Explore the famous Quinta Avenida, indulge in world-class dining and shopping, or take a plunge into the mesmerizing cenotes – natural sinkholes unique to this region. If you're up for a thrilling aerial experience, consider a flight over the mesmerizing Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Renowned for its vibrant coral reefs and abundant marine life, Cozumel is a must-visit destination for aviation enthusiasts who also love to explore the underwater world. Touch down at Cozumel Airport (MX0234) and dive into an underwater wonderland, encountering sea turtles, colorful fish, and even the occasional nurse shark. After an exhilarating day underwater, relax on the island's pristine beaches, savoring the beautiful sunsets.

Chetumal (MMCM)

Our final stop brings us to the charming city of Chetumal, located on the border between Mexico and Belize. As we land at Chetumal International Airport, we are greeted by a city rich in history and natural beauty. Explore the Mayan ruins of Dzibanche and Kohunlich, hidden deep in the lush jungles, or embark on a wildlife expedition through the stunning Banco Chinchorro Biosphere Reserve. Discover the fascinating blend of Mayan and Mestizo cultures, and don't miss the chance to sample traditional dishes like panuchos and marquesitas from the local street vendors. The next day we will fly back to Merida.

Tierra Maya Hotel Spa & Sanctuary is located near the boardwalk in Centro, Bacalar. The natural beauty of the area can be appreciated at Bacalar Ecological Park and Bacalar Lagoon. You can also take a stroll to Cenote Cocalitos and Othón P. Blanco Municipal Palace.
